A bioluminescent bay on Vieques, Puerto Rico, will be described by a biologist who has resided on the Island for more than twenty five years and who has carrying out a baseline study on the bay's waters and population counts of its bioluminescent organism, Pyrodinium bahamense. The bay's current status and the possible dangers for its survival are listed, as well as its potential as an important research facility for professors and graduate students. Photographs, videotape, brochures and other handouts will describe the Island in terms of its location, housing facilities and current political status concerning the United States Navy's use of two thirds of Vieques as an aummunition storage facility and target range.[Poster: bernache.barbar.05272]
