The Marine Operations Facility provides equipment, logistics and experienced support staff to support marine based scientific research. The Department of Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara oversees the facility.

Boats, equipment and other services are available in support of the research mission of the UCSB scientific research community on a recharge basis.
