Research Interests
I am researching the role that rodent herbivory plays in aiding and reinforcing the colonization of invasive annual grasses in a community of native annual plants in a serpentine environment. If invasive grasses can support inflated herbivore population by providing food resources and shelter, then these rodents could have a strong negative impact on native plants within and along the margins of stands of invasive grass.
