Research Interests

I am interested in using concepts from both plant community and ecosystems level ecology to answer questions about the invasion and impacts of alien plants. My dissertation project addresses how plant-soil feedbacks can alter dynamics between native coastal sage scrub and alien grass species on Santa Cruz Island, CA.
