ACTIVITIES
The Prezelin Lab started out 2004 with a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2004 Ocean Research Conference co-sponsored by the American Society of Limnology and Oceanography and The Oceanography Society. Click here to see some pictures from the week.

In November, 2002, three visiting scientists (Ole Jorgen-UNIS, Egil Shaskhaug-NTNU, Geir Johnsen-NTNU) came to UCSB to meet with four resident PIs including: Barbara Prezelin, Mark Brzezinski, Norm Nelson and Craig Carlson. The group gathered to discuss proposal development for marine science research in the fjord regions near Svalbard, Norway. The visiting scientists spent a week collaborating, giving talks, enjoying Santa Barbara in hopes that UNIS and UCSB would be able to forge an alliance that bridges scientific expertise spanning nearly 15,000 miles.
