and intermediate IDL programming courses in Boulder, CO
Research Experiences
1998: Completed a year-long
research project at the Shannon Point Research Center working with Giselle
Mueller-Parker and other undergraduate SEARUN students looking at the
implications of ultraviolet light on tropical corals.
2000: Completed Masters thesis
project at Port Hueneme in Ventura, Ca creating an ecological risk assessment
for the local impacts of MTBE plumes associated with a leak in an underground
storage tank
2000-present: Pursuing
oceanography research in the Prezelin Lab, focusing on the relationship
between solar radiance and production success of microbiota predominantly
through the use of IDL modeling
