Dr. Eardley received her B.A. in Bacteriology in 1968 and Ph.D. in Immunology in 1973 from the University of California, Berkeley. She conducted postdoctoral studies in Cellular Immunology at UCLA and Yale Medical School, and then was Assistant Professor of Immunology at the Harvard School of Public Health, before joining the faculty of UCSB. She was a Scholar of the American Cancer Society.
