Honors Programs
Two types of Honors programs are offered by the two biological sciences departments:
L&S Honors Program
Honors courses and honors enrichment sections in many Biology courses are offered through the College of Letters and Science Honors Program.
Senior Honors Program in Biology
Departmental Program where students participate in original independent research with the potential to lead to the award "distinction in the major" at graduation.
The Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society
The Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society is a national society recognizing outstanding academic achievement. Students may be elected to this Society in their senior year.
