Protein coding sequences (partial) in cloned genomic DNA sequence reads
Background
These sequences were obtained by degenerate PCR amplification of genomic DNA from T. thermophila strain SB255 (inbred strain B). The PCR product was then subcloned into pGEM-T-easy for sequencing. Vector sequences have been removed. This project is being done by Aashir Awan in Peter Satir's group with the help Michael Grushko, a part-time student.
