I am a behavioral ecologist with broad research interests in the evolution of intra-family conflict, the interactions of brood parasites and their hosts, and the incorporation of behavioral ecology into conservation approaches. My research combines both experimental and comparative approaches to test predictions from theory with the goal of understanding how behaviors function in ecological time and how they have evolved over longer timescales.
